RPG Sheets

I have started to make the RPG sheets workable. You guys can create chars and whatnot and we can do reeeaalllly slow D&D or someshit on here. I'm not DMing, though, cause I probably suck at it! Hooray!

I still wanna get my space campaign goin', but I'm pretty sure I wanna do that irl. But, if we were to do role playin' here, using either the chatbox or irc (I'd prefer irc, but I bet most people would rather just use what dey got) would be the way to go, with an accompanying thread for summaries, maps, etc.

Speaking of the space campaign: Tyler's playing a genius midget and Kim's playing a kung-fu hooker. (-heh- They fight crime!) Idk what Colin and Joel are thinking about yet. In case anyone doesn't know and wants to: 120 points in the GURPS system, TL 9-ish, and you'll be gumshoes (think "The Ear, The Eye and the Arm, or Scooby Doo with a bit of Firefly thrown in(??)). (Also: You need to get the got-damned characters book from me sometime, Kim! Or, just look up GURPS Lite, for most of what you need.)

Edit: Also, fyi, I've never DM'd before, nor have I played gurps. >_>;;;

I don't think this is what you were getting at, but to clarify: There will be problem-solving in this campaign, but there should also be plenty of ass-kicking as well. Plus, there's plenty of room for characters that are mostly muscle, since Tyler's character is a genius midget (really smart, but really underpowered in a fight). That, and charismatic characters with connexxions could really go a long way.

HA! Joel will play some sissy character that doesnt do anything besides whine, hide, and curl up in the fetal position....

The sad thing is, I'm pretty sure you can find disadvantages for that behavior.

Cowardice (-10 pts): You are extremely careful about your physical well-being. Make a self-control roll any time you are called on to risk physical danger. Roll at -5 if you must risk death. If you fail, you must refuse to endanger yourself unless threatened with greater danger!

Combat Paralysis (-15 pts): You tend to "freeze up" in combat situations, and receive -3 to all Fright Checks. This has nothing to do with Cowardice -- you may be brave, but your body betrays you.

It'd be interesting to play a character that had Combat Paralysis, but was otherwise very skilled in combat, I think.

Ya there is a thing where you can play online, not like a video game but the norm pencil and paper stuff, but i dont remember where i found it.

It wasn't this, was it? The guy that made this also wrote a webcomic I used to read. I can't vouch for this program or anything, but it could be worth trying out. It's written in java, which is nice for the purposes of getting it to run on everyone's computers.

So i was looking at the chat box and stuff and I'm pretty sure that you could do a DnD game, it might be a little dull w/o webcams tho, but it wouldnt work as long as there was a set time that worked for people and people where were truthful about what the rolled...anyway thats about all i can think of and everyone would need dice and if we are playing gurps, idk how to make characters and stuff....

Nope it wasnt that they actually had DM's set up and stuff but i briefly looked at that and that could work too

Totally, it would be cooler than if more people joined the forums...someone should beat tyler into joining so he can do it too, he's probably the most knowledgeable about the game and rules

Dude, I told him about the forums, I even made him go there. He'll join eventually, when he's not being a lazy bitch, I'm /pretty/ sure.
